CARIBOU
Caribou, or the rangifer tarantus, is a very interesting creature. They have very saggy coats of brown fur and both genders have very large flat antlers. Caribou also have very thin or skinny/bony legs, thus making caribou an interesting animal to look at.
ERMINE​
The ermine, or the mustela erminea, is a prairie dog-like creature with (usually) a white underbelly and a light brown coat. They have long slender bodies, and live in the more grassy parts of the tundra.
HARLEQUIN
DUCK
The harlequin duck, or anseriformes, is a type of duck that roams around the swampy areas or water bodies of the tundra. They have very smooth colors and feathers and have very circulur bodies.
ANIMALS
Just because humans aren't settled in an area doesn't mean that life doesn't thrive there. In the tundra biome, many majestic animals roam around the snow and alpine, all ready and decked-up for the usual sweater weather! Here are some examples of animals in the tundra:
